80s Hausmann

Paris 16ème

The brief for this Hausmannian flat called for warmth, character, and a quiet 80’s theatricality, paired with the glamour of French Déco, while honouring the dignity of a building that has stood for over a century.

Walnut paneling runs as a continuous thread from the salon through to the bedroom and kitchen, grounding the apartment's identity.

Against this backdrop, we introduced modern glossy fixtures, cream linens, lacquered accents, and prints that made bold gestures for a laid-back feel at home in the building's traditional proportions.

The result is an interior that is unmistakably Parisian, yet personal. One where every room holds a memory of another era, and every material choice has been made with pleasure in mind.
