This project draws inspiration from the relaxed character of Coconut Grove and the understated simplicity of a one-story 1940s home. While the original structure was preserved, the interior was carefully reconfigured to introduce a spacious primary suite, complete with a walk-in closet and a modern ensuite bathroom.

The concept centers on barefoot, beach-inspired comfort—creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with a layout designed for effortless flow and visual continuity between spaces.

A palette of earth tones is layered with fresh linens, natural fibers, and organic materials such as iron, wood, and natural stone, balanced by clean, modern fixtures in the kitchen, closet, and bathroom areas. Original coral stone and wood floors were retained, adding authenticity and texture, while the Florida room—with its distinctive arched windows—serves as a charming architectural highlight of the home.
