Mesa Chair Vonnegut Kraft.jpg

Conceived at the NY studio of designer duo Katrina Vonnegut and Brian Kraft, the Mesa chair is an exploration of wood's materiality into scale, perspective, and modularity. Its bulbous shapes are made of solid walnut and evoke a modern, yet primal brutalism.

Daniel Romualdez hollywood hills home.jpg

This 1920's Spanish colonial house was purchased by a young 33-year-old developer that was lucky enough to have it designed by his friend Daniel Romualdez, an architect/designer, who is best known for his famous clients and their multi-million-dollar homes.

For their project, they were able to stick to a moderate budget (for us mortals), and created a home that actually looks like a million bucks!

It just goes to show that when it comes to design, the budget is to be seen as a tool, not a constrain. The rest is in the eyes, baby!
